Warangal Man Murdered by Five People at Madhapur Hostel Over Love Affair

A 30-year-old man from Warangal district was murdered by five people at a hostel in the Madhapur locality of Hyderabad during the midnight hours of Tuesday. The victim, identified as S Bhaskar, was working as a cook in the area when he was targeted and killed over an alleged love affair.

Bhaskar, who hailed from Upparapally village in the Wardhanapet mandal of Warangal district, had been residing in Madhapur for his employment. According to details regarding the case, Bhaskar had fallen in love with a girl from his own native village of Upparapally. The relationship between the two had initially blossomed after they connected with each other through the social media platform Instagram.

When the girl’s family members came to know about the love affair, they opposed the relationship. In an attempt to end the association between the two, the family members subsequently performed her marriage with another person.

However, the marriage did not end the connection. Bhaskar continued to maintain a relationship with the woman even after she was married to the other person. This ongoing contact led to frequent disputes and continuous quarrels within her family. The domestic situation deteriorated to the point where family elders were forced to intervene on multiple occasions to try and pacify the couple.

Believing that the woman was facing persistent problems in her life and her marriage entirely because of Bhaskar's continued presence, her family members decided to eliminate him.

As per their planned conspiracy, five family members of the woman traveled to the hostel in Madhapur where Bhaskar worked and lived. They approached Bhaskar on the pretext of wanting to discuss the ongoing issue. Once they gained access to him under this pretext, the group of five assailants attacked and killed Bhaskar at the hostel on Tuesday midnight.
