Vigilance Teams Inspect Katheresala Rice Mill Over Custom Milled Rice Discrepancies

Vigilance authorities from the Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation carried out an inspection at a rice mill in Katheresala village, located within Chennur mandal of Mancherial district, on Friday.

The enforcement action followed multiple complaints alleging that the rice mill had failed to deliver custom milled rice (CMR) to the Civil Supplies Corporation in accordance with the established agreement.

During the inspection, vigilance officials conducted an on-site verification of the paddy stocks currently stored at the mill. They evaluated the physical inventory against the official records of custom milled rice that the mill had supplied back to the corporation.

The verification revealed that the figures did not align, with authorities detecting a wide gap between the volume of paddy supplied to the mill and the quantity of custom milled rice returned to the Civil Supplies Corporation.
