Venkaiah Naidu Releases Multiple Books at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad

Former Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu called for the preservation of traditional values and cultural roots while addressing a literary gathering at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Saturday. Attending the second edition of ‘International Ink Bound 2.0’ as the chief guest, Naidu officially released multiple new books before an audience of writers, artists, and readers.
The literary event was organised by Kasturi Vijaya Publishers under the leadership of Pamarthi Sudheer Pamireddy. The gathering brought together attendees from multiple fields to highlight regional heritage, creative storytelling, and the enduring connection between literature and cinema.
During the proceedings, Naidu launched three prominent titles, including Dr Praveen Yajjala’s multilingual book ‘Screenplay Master Sukumar’. He also unveiled Vanguri Chitten Raj’s book titled ‘Avemaina Gnapakala? Marchipovadanika?’ as well as a 48-story anthology published under the title ‘Ammamma Kathala Khajana’.
Addressing the audience, the former Vice-President expressed concern over individuals drifting away from indigenous traditions in an effort to follow Western trends. Naidu observed that Indians living abroad often demonstrate greater enthusiasm for holding onto and celebrating their local customs compared to those back home.
Naidu also turned his attention to the film medium, stating that cinema must blend entertainment with meaningful knowledge and humour. He emphasised that filmmakers and writers should maintain high grammatical standards and employ strong language while creating their works.
The event drew several notable personalities from public life, including actor and writer Tanikella Bharani and former Rajya Sabha member Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad. During the gathering, Tanikella Bharani commended the Pamireddy family for their steadfast dedication to supporting and promoting literary excellence.
