Vedic Tolwala Wins Under-18 Title at Telangana Chess Academy Tournament in Alkapuri

Vedic Tolwala clinched the boys' under-18 title at the 30th All India Telangana Chess Academy Age Group Chess Tournament held in Alkapuri, Hyderabad. The local tournament recognized and highlighted the achievements of numerous young chess talents across several age divisions from under-8 to under-18.
In the boys' under-18 division, Tolwala secured the top spot to win the championship. He was followed by Ramsinghani Mohith in second place, V Archith Reddy in third place, and S Mani Charan in fourth place.
The tournament saw intense competition across other boys' age categories as well. In the youngest boys' division, the under-8 category, Abhijeet Bejugam won the first prize. Mohammed Sahir Ahmed finished second, Vishwa Teja took third, A Lauhit came fourth, and Shanmukha Sai Srivatsav finished fifth.
In the boys' under-10 category, Ayaan Reddy Pasham emerged as the winner. The subsequent positions in this category were secured by N Mohit Sai in second, Meravath Ashwanth in third, MP Pritham Saharsh in fourth, and N Vihaan Aditya in fifth place.
The boys' under-12 title went to R Suhruth, who led the category ahead of second-placed R Aadhitya. G Leela Naga Surya Saketh finished third, Athirath Rudra Teja took fourth, and K Harivansh Reddy finished fifth.
In the boys' under-14 category, Sreesanth Virugu secured the victory. Mohammed Shabbir Ahmed finished in second place, Sresht Bharadwaj in third, Y Jashwanth Reddy in fourth, and A Sornam in fifth.
The girls' categories also featured competitive matches. In the girls' under-8 division, Mehreen Shaik Y Suheera won the title. Agaly Sornam secured the second position, while Tejavath Bhuvika Anshi finished third.
In the girls' under-12 division, B Rushika Bhaskar claimed the top spot, with Manasvi Virugu finishing as the runner-up. Meanwhile, the girls' under-14 title was won by Prisha Chakraborty.
