VC Sajjanar Inspects Bonalu Security at Laldarwaja Temple

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected the security arrangements at the Lal Darwaja Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Ammavari Temple on Sunday on the occasion of Ashada Masa Bonalu. Visiting the temple in the Laldarwaja area of Hyderabad, Sajjanar performed a special puja to the goddess before interacting with visitors. He greeted women devotees celebrating the festival and assured them that police personnel had been deployed throughout the area for their safety and protection.

To maintain law and order during the festival, around 2,400 police personnel have been divided into two shifts and assigned security duties. Dedicated crime teams have been deployed to protect devotees, and picketing has been arranged at the temples.

Surveillance systems have been expanded across the temple premises and along procession routes. The police installed drones alongside additional CCTV cameras to maintain continuous oversight. A special command control room has also been established at Laldarwaja to monitor security operations throughout the area.

Speaking to the media, Sajjanar stated that security arrangements had been made for 48 hours in the surrounding areas of the temple to ensure peaceful celebrations. He noted that festivities were proceeding without problems due to the cooperation of the devotees.

The police department is also utilising artificial intelligence technology as part of its security setup. AI cameras have been deployed to continuously monitor the crowds and quickly identify potential thieves and chain snatchers.
