Vaddiraju Ravichandra Appointed BRS Rajya Sabha Floor Leader

HYDERABAD — The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has officially appointed Vaddiraju Ravichandra as the party’s Floor Leader in the Rajya Sabha. The appointment, announced in Hyderabad, comes into effect immediately on July 8, 2026.

Vaddiraju Ravichandra replaces K. R. Suresh Reddy as the party’s parliamentary leader in the Upper House of Parliament. The transition of leadership was confirmed through an official communication sent to the legislature.

In a letter dated July 8, 2026, BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao formally addressed the Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha regarding the change. Rao stated in the communication that Ravichandra has been elected as the Leader of the BRS Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha.

With the appointment taking effect immediately, Ravichandra assumes the role of leading the BRS legislative group in the Upper House, taking over the responsibilities previously held by K. R.
