US Ambassador Sergio Gor Hosts Business Roundtable at Taj Falaknuma Palace

U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and U.S. Consul General Laura Williams convened top Indian industry leaders at the historic Taj Falaknuma Palace to accelerate bilateral trade, secure high-tech supply chains, and expand U.S.-India commercial ties.

The dinner, commemorating the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, brought together C-suite executives from across defense manufacturing, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and technology. The gathering aimed to convert strategic bilateral policy into real-world business investments across South India.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Gor highlighted the growing momentum between the two nations, noting that the relationship has moved beyond strategic alignment into a concrete architecture of cooperation spanning defense, technology, life sciences, and space. He emphasized that this cooperation is built on the foundation of longstanding business-to-business partnerships between the two countries.

The roundtable underscored the commitment of both nations to expand market access, deepen defense industrial co-production, and ensure the economic partnership delivers tangible results.

Ambassador Gor also encouraged business leaders across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha to leverage policy frameworks such as the TRUST Initiative, Pax Silica, the U.S.-India COMPACT, and the U.S.-India Strategic Mineral Recovery Initiative as direct vehicles for investment, supply-chain partnership, and market access.
