University of London Plans Hyderabad Campus Following Revanth Reddy's UK Visit

The University of London is working on setting up a campus in Hyderabad to offer a wide range of educational programmes and courses, according to an announcement by the Chief Minister's Office. The development follows a high-level roundtable meeting held in the United Kingdom.
A Telangana Rising delegation led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited the Senate House at the University of London during their tour of the UK. The state delegation presented opportunities for top global institutions to establish dedicated campuses in Hyderabad as part of efforts to create a leading global knowledge hub.
The visiting team included IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Government Adviser K Ramakrishna Rao, and Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. During the roundtable, the state representatives interacted with a delegation from the University of London, including officials from member institutions such as the London School of Economics and Political Science and the School of Oriental and African Studies.
The proposed Hyderabad campus is expected to offer diverse courses across the various schools and departments that constitute the University of London's academic federation.
As part of the wider tour to explore academic collaborations, the Telangana delegation also met with an academic team from Cambridge University.
