University of Hyderabad opens applications for 470 UG and Integrated PG seats

The University of Hyderabad (UoH) in Hyderabad has officially opened its online application portal for admission to various Undergraduate (UG) and Integrated Post-Graduate (PG) programmes for the upcoming 2026–27 academic year. The online application process commenced on July 7, 2026, and the university has set the final deadline for submitting applications as July 21, 2026.

Prospective students seeking admission to these courses will be evaluated based on their performance in the Common University Entrance Test, known as CUET (UG) 2026. The university is offering a total of 470 seats distributed across 17 specialised programmes for the new academic session.

According to the university's admission notification, seat allocations across the various disciplines will strictly adhere to government reservation policies. This distribution is designed to ensure equitable access for students across multiple categories, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Defence Personnel (DP).

The academic pathways open for applications include a four-year BS (Honours/Research) programme in Chemistry.

For students interested in the sciences, the university offers several five-year Integrated MSc programmes. These specialized science courses are available in Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Applied Geology, and Psychology.

In addition to the science programmes, the university has opened admissions for its five-year Integrated MA programmes. These humanities and social sciences courses cover a wide range of subjects, including Philosophy, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Language Sciences, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology.

Eligible candidates who are committed to academic excellence must complete and submit their applications exclusively online. The university will not accept offline submissions. The application portal can be accessed through the official academic website at http://acad.uohyd.ac.in. All submissions must be completed before the portal closes on July 21, 2026.
