Two Furniture Shops Gutted in Fire Near Medchal Checkpost in Hyderabad

Two furniture shops were completely gutted after a major fire broke out near Medchal Checkpost in Hyderabad during the early hours of Sunday.
According to reports, flames initially erupted from one of the commercial establishments and quickly spread to the adjacent furniture shop. The fire generated thick plumes of smoke that rose into the sky, drawing the attention of nearby residents.
Locals who noticed the blaze immediately alerted the fire department. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene and pressed two fire engines into service to battle the flames and bring the situation under control.
Police personnel also reached the spot to assess the area and subsequently registered a case concerning the incident.
Preliminary inquiries suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze, leading to significant property damage across both shops.
