Two Arrested After Banjara Hills Police Raid Spa Brothel in Mithalinagar

Banjara Hills police raided an apartment in Mithalinagar operating as a brothel under the guise of a spa, leading to the arrest of two organizers and the rescue of two women.

The arrested individuals were identified as spa manager Shaik Mushtaq Ahmed and assistant manager Shaik Faisaluddin. Both were taken into custody during the operation conducted at the residential unit.

According to police officials, Ahmed admitted during questioning that he had rented the apartment two months prior. He used the premises to operate a prostitution racket under the pretense of running a legitimate spa business.

During the raid, officers rescued two women found on the premises. They were subsequently shifted to a state-run shelter home for safety and rehabilitation.

The Banjara Hills police have registered a case against the accused under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). Further investigation into the network and operations of the establishment is currently underway.
