Trivikram and Venkatesh Team Up as Aadarsha Kutumbam Releases in Theatres

Trivikram and Venkatesh Team Up as Aadarsha Kutumbam Releases in Theatres

Telugu feature film "Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 – AK47", directed by Trivikram Srinivas and starring "Victory" Venkatesh, was released in theatres on October 30, 2026. The production marks the first time Trivikram has directed Venkatesh as the lead actor, following three prior film collaborations between the two in other capacities. Critical reception assessed the movie as a decent family entertainer, giving it a rating of 3 out of 5.

The narrative follows Chitti Babu Thotti, portrayed by Venkatesh, and his wife Swarna Thotti, played by Srinidhi Shetty, who struggle to manage their household alongside their children amid accumulating debts. Their fortunes reverse when they suddenly win a Rs. 100 crore lottery prize and proceed to purchase a villa worth Rs. 20 crore. The family's newfound happiness is quickly disrupted when a Bihar-based dacoit gang, known for committing crimes for money, targets them.

In addition to the lead pair, the production features child actors Raja Prajwal and Yuvina Parthavi as the couple's children. Comedic and supporting roles are filled by Satya, Raghu Babu, Rao Ramesh, Deviyani Sharma, and Aakash Srinivas. Venkatesh appears across both comedic and action-oriented scenes, playing a middle-class character with mass appeal, while Srinidhi Shetty contributes with comic timing supported by Trivikram's character writing. Satya's comedy also serves as an enjoyable asset.

The feature was produced by S. Radha Krishna, also known as Chinababu. Technical contributions include musical composition and a background score by Thaman S that adds impact to important moments, cinematography handled by Ravi K Chandran, and film editing completed by Navin Nooli. The first half features an interval action sequence as a major highlight, followed by a narrative twist at the start of the second half that addresses questions regarding similarities to a recent blockbuster.

Other cast members appearing in the film include Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Brahmaji, and Udaybir Sandhu. While Udaybir Sandhu is given a good role in the drama, cast members like Nivetha Pethuraj and Brahmaji have limited scope in the storyline, and Nara Rohith turns in an ordinary performance.

While early portions of the screenplay focus on the balance between comedy and action, the latter half of the story traces the emotional and dramatic challenges confronting the family. Although the film guides its characters through an emotional journey in a fun manner typical of Trivikram, reviewers noted that the second half faces pacing hiccups, with several emotional sequences feeling artificial.
