Traffic Diversions Begin at SBI Tellapur for 25-Day Storm-Water Drain Project

The Cyberabad traffic police announced vehicular diversions near SBI Tellapur starting August 22 for a period of 25 days to facilitate the construction of a storm-water drain along the Nallagandla-Tellapur Road, affecting commuters travelling between Tellapur, Nallagandla, and Gachibowli.
The civic work involves laying a reinforced cement concrete (RCC) pipeline between SBI Bank and MM Wine Mart. The stretch, situated in Tellapur Ward No. 263 under Patancheru Circle-46 in the SLP Zone of the municipal corporation, was identified as a critical waterlogging spot where rainwater accumulation regularly disrupted traffic flow during heavy downpours.
To accommodate the construction, one-way traffic at SBI Tellapur will remain completely closed for the duration of the 25-day project. Vehicular movement between the SBI Tellapur U-turn and the MM Wines U-turn will be regulated along the opposite side of the carriageway, accompanied by traffic management measures at nearby junctions.
Under the diversion plan, traffic moving from Nallagandla Circle towards Tellapur, Osmannagar, and Outer Ring Road (ORR) Exit-2 via SBI Tellapur will operate on the opposite side of the road for roughly 300 metres. Alternatively, motorists travelling towards Kollur and Osmannagar can proceed from Nallagandla Circle past Neo Mall to Gopanpally crossroads, Aliens Junction, Osmannagar, and the ORR service road.
Vehicles travelling from Tellapur Circle towards RC Puram via Nallagandla will also share the opposite carriageway for approximately 300 metres. Drivers heading to RC Puram can take an alternate route from Tellapur Circle toward the Saibaba Temple, the railway underbridge, and Old MIG.
Motorists travelling from Kollur and Osmannagar towards Gachibowli via Nallagandla can utilise the single operational side near SBI Tellapur. Alternatively, commuters heading toward Gachibowli can take the Kollur road via Osmannagar, Aliens Junction, My Home Sayuk, Gopanpally junction, Gowlidoddy, and Wipro Circle.
