Traffic Diversions Announced in Charminar Zone for Milad-un-Nabi Procession

Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced extensive traffic diversions across the Charminar zone on Wednesday to manage vehicular movement during the Milad-un-Nabi peace procession, held to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.
The traffic restrictions and diversions will remain in force from 10 AM to 11 PM along major routes in the Charminar area and adjacent neighbourhoods.
According to the traffic advisory, the main procession will commence from Falaknuma and proceed to Volta Hotel via Charminar, before returning from Yahya Pasha Dargah Volta Hotel. Another segment of the procession originating from Falaknuma will pass from Mecca Masjid to Haj House in Nampally, as well as from Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla.
Authorities confirmed that vehicular traffic will either be stopped or diverted on a need basis throughout the scheduled hours. The affected locations and intersections include Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta X Road, Himmatpura Junction, Haribowli, Panch Mohalla, Charminar, Gulzar House, Pattarghatti, Madina Junction, Delhi Gate, Nayapool, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Miral Mandi, Afzalgunj T Junction, MJ Market Junction, Taj Island, and the AR Petrol Pump in Nampally.
Citizens and commuters have been advised to avoid these identified junctions and routes between 10 AM and 11 PM. Motorists are requested to plan ahead and take alternative routes to reach their destinations in order to avoid traffic congestion.
In an official press release, Joint Commissioner of City Traffic Police D Joel Davis requested the public to cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police and adhere to the diversion plans and directions given by police personnel deployed along the procession routes.
