Traffic diversions announced between Nalgonda X roads and Owaisi Junction until July 1

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced major traffic diversions and road closures between Nalgonda X roads and Owaisi Junction, effective until July 1, to facilitate the construction of a comprehensive elevated corridor. As part of the project's initial phase, one carriageway from the Saidabad Y Junction to Yadagiri Theatre has been closed, prompting authorities to reroute heavy vehicles, buses, and two-wheelers through alternative local routes to manage expected congestion.

Motorists have been advised by the police to avoid the stretch between Nalgonda X roads and Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction) due to anticipated heavy traffic congestion on the surrounding roads and junctions.

For four-wheelers, RTC buses, and heavy goods vehicles travelling from Nalgonda X roads towards Santosh Nagar and IS Sadan, traffic is being diverted at the Saidabad Y junction. These vehicles must travel via the DCP South East Zone office, Saidabad police station, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman, Sankeswar Bazaar, Singareni Colony, Onus Robotic Hospital, and Champapet before reaching the DMRL rotary.

Two and three-wheelers travelling from Chanchalguda towards IS Sadan are being diverted at the Saidabad Y Junction. Their alternative route goes through the Saidabad police station, 105 Bus Stop, Ramalayam Kaman, Laxmi Nagar, and Dobhighat to join the IS Sadan main road.

For two and three-wheelers heading towards Champapet from Chanchalguda, the diversion route goes through the Saidabad police station, Ramalayam Kaman, Laxmi Nagar, Vinay Nagar, and Bharath Garden before reaching Champapet Main Road and the DMRL rotary.

RTC buses and heavy vehicles heading from Chaderghat towards IS Sadan and Champapet face a different diversion. They are being rerouted at Nalgonda X Roads through Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh X Roads, Gaddiannaram, Shiva Ganga Theatre, Hanifiya Mosque near Saroornagar Lake, Singareni Colony, and Onus Hospital to reach Champapet Main Road.
