Traffic Advisory Issued for Gachibowli Ahead of Marathon and NEET-PG Exam

The Cyberabad Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for candidates appearing for the NEET-PG entrance examination in Gachibowli and nearby areas, in view of the 15th edition of the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon scheduled to take place on August 30.

The marathon is set to be held between 5:00 am and 11:30 am, during which several major arterial roads across the Cyberabad region are expected to see significant traffic restrictions and congestion. Because the sporting event coincides with the medical entrance examination, authorities have asked aspirants to plan their travel well in advance.

Police have advised all NEET-PG candidates and motorists to avoid the marathon corridors and identify alternative routes to ensure they reach their examination centres on time without facing delays.

Key stretches identified by the police that should be avoided include the corridor from the Cable Bridge passing through ITC Kohinoor, My Home Abhra, IKEA at the Mind Space Rotary, NCB Junction, Gachibowli flyover, Indira Nagar, IIIT Junction, Gachibowli Stadium, and up to University of Hyderabad Gate No. 2.

Additionally, routes dedicated to the 10K run will affect connectivity around the NAC main gate, Khanamet junction, Metal Charminar junction, Tech Mahindra, Lemon Tree Hotel, Raidurgam metro station, and the IKEA underpass, before the route merges with the main marathon path.

Traffic police urged all NEET-PG aspirants to start early from their residences, account for potential road diversions, and take designated alternative pathways to prevent missing exam reporting deadlines.
