TPCC Suspends LB Nagar Congress Leader Jakkidi Prabhakar Reddy

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee disciplinary action committee has issued orders suspending senior Congress leader Jakkidi Prabhakar Reddy from LB Nagar in Hyderabad.
The committee, headed by Mallu Ravi and A Shyam Mohan, took disciplinary action following evidence confirming incidents in which Prabhakar Reddy verbally abused individuals. The committee noted that the leader used caste-based slurs and made remarks concerning personal matters.
Alongside the suspension in LB Nagar, the TPCC disciplinary committee has also initiated actions against several other leaders within the party over matters of internal discipline.
The committee directed Minister Konda Surekha to submit an explanation within three days regarding inappropriate comments allegedly made by her daughter, Sushmita. The remarks in question were reportedly made in Parkal against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and senior MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy.
Former minister and Planning Commission Vice-Chairman G Chinna Reddy has likewise been served a notice seeking an explanation within three days. This action follows allegations of anti-party remarks and inappropriate statements made against the local MLA during a recent meeting held in the Wanaparthy constituency.
Additionally, the disciplinary committee issued show-cause notices to two Congress leaders from Adilabad over alleged indiscipline as the party moves to address internal conduct across multiple districts.
