TMC Flags Unauthorised Aesthetic Training At HairSigns Clinic In Hitec City

The Telangana Medical Council (TMC) conducted a surprise inspection at the HairSigns Clinic in Hitec City, Hyderabad, flagging unauthorized aesthetic medicine training being conducted by an unqualified individual. The inspection, which took place on Tuesday, raised serious concerns over how the facility was being operated.
According to the Medical Council, the clinic was running training programs under the name 'School of Aesthetics' on its premises. During the surprise visit, inspectors found that these training sessions were allegedly being imparted by an individual who only possessed a dental qualification. The participants receiving this training in aesthetic procedures included both dentists and MBBS graduates.
The inspection was carried out by Dr. Gundagani Srinivas, a member of the Telangana Medical Council. Dr. Jalagam Vijay was also present during the visit and served as an eyewitness to the findings.
Following the inspection, the Medical Council issued a statement making it clear that aesthetic procedures and related training must be conducted only by qualified and competent professionals. The council emphasized that all such training must align with established medical standards and regulatory norms. It warned that any unauthorized training programs that compromise patient safety and professional ethics will be viewed seriously.
The TMC announced that the findings of the inspection will be placed before the General Body of the Medical Council for detailed deliberation and to determine the appropriate action to be taken.
Furthermore, the inspection report will be forwarded to the Dental Council of Telangana. This action is being taken to address the involvement of the dental practitioner who was conducting the training programs at the Hitec City facility.
In addition to forwarding the report, the Medical Council stated that it will initiate steps to register a First Information Report (FIR) against fake aesthetic institutions that conduct unauthorized training programs for unqualified persons.
