Three Nirmal Residents Killed, Seven Injured in Nanded Jeep Crash

Three residents from Pardi village in Nirmal district of Telangana were killed and seven others sustained serious injuries after their speeding jeep crashed into a roadside tree in Maharashtra's Nanded district on Monday evening.

The accident took place around 6 pm at the Totamba forest ghat located in Kinwat tehsil, according to police officials.

The victims, all residents of Pardi village, had travelled to Nanded to visit a local waterfall and offer prayers at a temple. The group was travelling back home to Telangana when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle. The speeding jeep veered off the roadway and crashed with heavy force into a large tree along the roadside.

Police identified the deceased as 60-year-old Tum Sailu, 60-year-old Tum Gourabai, and 55-year-old Awala Gangadhar.

The force of the impact left the jeep completely mangled. Following the collision, local residents arrived at the scene to help rescue the passengers who were trapped inside the wreckage of the vehicle.

An official stated that seven passengers who suffered serious injuries received preliminary medical treatment before being shifted to a hospital in Kubeer, Telangana, for advanced medical care.
