Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Pileup on Outer Ring Road Near Gachibowli

Three persons sustained injuries, two of them critically, after a multi-vehicle pileup occurred on the Outer Ring Road heading towards Gachibowli X-Roads in the early hours of Sunday, October 4. The injured victims were immediately shifted by response teams to a private hospital in Hitec City.
According to the police, the accident took place around 4 a.m. when a lorry transporting steel rods was travelling along the Outer Ring Road towards Gachibowli X-Roads. A Mahindra XEV 9S crashed directly into the rear of the lorry, sparking a chain-reaction collision.
The driver of the Mahindra XEV 9S suffered injuries in the initial crash and was quickly taken for medical care. The severe impact sent one of the vehicles veering into the adjacent lane, where it landed directly onto moving traffic.
Following that impact, three other cars collided one after another. Two of those vehicles sustained severe damage, and two additional motorists were injured in the secondary collisions.
Personnel from the Outer Ring Road assisted at the scene, shifting all three injured individuals to a private hospital in Hitec City. Police stated that two of the three victims were admitted in critical condition.
In total, four cars and the lorry were involved in the crash. Police officials said that further details regarding the identities of the victims and their medical conditions were awaited.
