Three Arrested in Srinagar Colony for Selling Banned Vapes Worth Rs 2 Lakh

Three people were arrested by the Task Force and Banjara Hills police on Wednesday for allegedly selling e-cigarettes and banned foreign cigarettes from a shop located in Srinagar Colony.

During the raid, law enforcement officials confiscated 53 vapes, 10 liquid containers, and 76 boxes of foreign cigarettes. The total value of the seized stock is estimated at Rs 2 lakh.

Police identified the three suspects as Mohd Muneer, Abdul Rahman Meehraj, and Mohd Eyas. Investigators stated that the trio operated their retail setup under the business name “Smokers.in.”

According to police officials, the suspects procured the contraband cigarettes from Mumbai at lower prices and transported them to Hyderabad, where they sold the items at higher rates to generate large profits.
