Three Arrested in Banjara Hills with Vapes and Banned Cigarettes Worth Rs 2 Lakh

The Hyderabad Police Task Force apprehended three men in Banjara Hills for allegedly engaging in the illegal sale of e-cigarettes and banned foreign cigarettes, officials said.
Acting on credible information, the Task Force team carried out a raid at a shop located in Banjara Hills. During the operation, the three accused were allegedly found in possession of e-cigarettes, vape liquids, and banned foreign cigarettes, which were being sold to customers.
Officers seized a total of 53 vapes, 10 bottles of vape liquids, and 76 boxes of cigarettes from the premises. The total seized property is estimated to be worth around Rs 2 lakh.
Police identified the accused as Mohammed Muneer, 26, Abdul Rahman Meehraj, 25, and Mohammed Eyas, 19. Investigators stated that Muneer and Meehraj managed the business operations, while Eyas was employed as a worker.
During questioning, the accused told police that they are natives of Kerala and had recently relocated to Hyderabad. Police noted that the group procured the cigarettes from Mumbai.
According to law enforcement officials, the accused were involved in the illicit trade of both e-cigarettes and banned foreign cigarettes with the intention of making illegal profits.
