TGTDC Launches One Day Pilgrimage and Heritage Tour From Secunderabad and Begumpet

The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TGTDC) has launched a new one-day pilgrimage and heritage tour package starting from key boarding points in Secunderabad, Begumpet, and Basheerbagh. The curated round-trip itinerary connects several of Telangana’s prominent religious, cultural, and handloom destinations, providing an organized travel option for tourists and pilgrims.
The tour is scheduled to run as a single-day itinerary, beginning early in the morning. Passengers can board the tour bus at Yatri Nivas in Secunderabad at 7:00 a.m., Paryatak Bhavan in Begumpet at 7:15 a.m., or the Central Reservation Office (CRO) in Basheerbagh at 7:30 a.m.
The first destination on the itinerary is the Sri Yadagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple located at Yadagirigutta. After completing their visit to the temple, tourists will be served breakfast at the local Haritha Hotel.
Following breakfast, the tour proceeds to Shilparamam, a rural arts and crafts village, and then to the historic Kolanpaka Jain Temple. The Kolanpaka temple is recognized as one of the oldest Jain temples in South India.
The tour group will then head to Bhongir, where a vegetarian South Indian lunch will be served at the Vivera Hotel. After lunch, the itinerary moves to the Swarnagiri Temple.
The final stop of the day is Bhoodan Pochampally, a location known internationally for its traditional Ikat handloom weaving. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the area and will be served hi-tea at the Haritha Hotel in Pochampally before heading back. The tour is scheduled to return to Hyderabad by approximately 7:30 p.m.
The comprehensive package is priced at ₹2,070 for adults and ₹1,770 for children. The cost covers all aspects of the journey, including round-trip travel in an air-conditioned mini bus, breakfast, a vegetarian South Indian lunch, afternoon hi-tea, and darshan access at the temples included in the itinerary.
