TGSRTC Starts Electric AC Bus Service From Pragathi Nagar to Waverock via ORR

HYDERABAD — The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched a new electric air-conditioned bus service connecting Pragathi Nagar Kaman with Waverock via the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The service provides daily commuters travelling between residential localities in the north-western parts of the city and the IT corridor with a faster, more comfortable, and eco-friendly public transport option.

The 100 per cent electric AC buses operate along a designated route covering Bachupally Cross Road, Mallampet ORR Exit 4A, Exit 1, Cyient Signal, and ICICI Signal before reaching Waverock.

According to TGSRTC authorities, four morning services are scheduled to depart from Pragathi Nagar Kaman at 7:45 am, 8:15 am, 9:15 am, and 10:15 am.

For the return journey in the evening, buses will operate from Waverock back to Pragathi Nagar Kaman at 4:15 pm, 5:15 pm, and 6:45 pm.

The new ORR-routed service has been introduced to significantly benefit daily office-goers and commuters travelling between residential colonies in the north-western suburbs and the Waverock IT hub by providing scheduled trips during peak morning and evening hours.
