TGSRTC offers free Pushpak AC bus rides to Shamshabad for Bengaluru passengers

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched a new initiative offering free Pushpak AC bus rides to Shamshabad for passengers travelling on Bengaluru-bound buses. This service allows commuters from Hyderabad neighbourhoods like Miyapur, Gachibowli, and Nizampet to connect directly to their long-distance buses without having to travel to the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS).
Under the new system, passengers can use TGSRTC’s existing airport feeder routes to reach Shamshabad. The eligible routes include the AC service running from Jubilee Bus Station to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), the AJ service from Miyapur to RGIA, and the AK service from Lingampally to RGIA.
From Shamshabad, passengers can board their reserved Bengaluru-bound buses. This integration of city airport services with long-distance operations is designed to save commuters from navigating the heavy traffic on the way to MGBS.
This complimentary feeder service is subject to specific conditions. It is only valid for Bengaluru-bound buses that depart after 6 p.m. on the passenger's scheduled date of travel. The facility cannot be used on any other date.
To avail of the free travel, passengers must select "Shamshabad (Opp. RGIA Traffic Police Station)" as their boarding point while booking their reservation. Additionally, they must present their valid Bengaluru reservation ticket to the bus conductor when boarding the Pushpak feeder bus to receive the complimentary ride.
According to TGSRTC, travellers residing in and around Miyapur, Nizampet, JNTU, Gachibowli, and Hafeezpet previously had to brave peak rush-hour traffic to reach MGBS. This commute often took up to two hours. The state-run transport undertaking stated that the new initiative aims to eliminate this inconvenience and provide a more seamless travel experience for long-distance passengers by utilizing the airport bus network.
