TGSPDCL CMD Jitesh V Patil Reviews Power Exhibition Setup at People's Plaza

HYDERABAD — TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil on Friday evening inspected arrangements at People's Plaza on Necklace Road ahead of a three-day power exhibition scheduled to begin on Saturday.
Accompanied by Projects and IT Director V. Shivaji, Patil reviewed the venue setup, including display stalls, visitor facilities, uninterrupted power supply arrangements, security measures, parking areas, entry gates, stage construction, digital displays, and public awareness centres.
The three-day exhibition will showcase Telangana's power-sector reforms, safety initiatives, and smart-grid technologies. It features 16 thematic stalls highlighting state schemes, smart metering, renewable energy, and disaster management.
Patil said the exhibition aims to highlight the technological, administrative, and consumer-service reforms undertaken in the state's power sector over the past decade. The event also seeks to build awareness around transparency, safety protocols, and operational measures deployed to maintain continuous power supply year-round.
The stalls at the venue cover a range of subjects, carrying themes such as "Welcome to Power World", "Power Utilities: The Backbone of Development", "Free Power, Empowering Every Eligible Consumer", "Innovation Today, Smarter Power Tomorrow", "SCADA, DMS & 1912 — Smarter Response, Better Service", "Smart Meters, Transparent Bills, Better Service", "Safety First, Every Connection, Every Day", and "Harness the Sun, Power the Future". Other exhibits focus on network infrastructure, information technology initiatives, and first-aid awareness.
Visitors will be able to view working models of substations, transformers, solar power systems, battery storage units, and electric vehicle charging technologies. The event will also feature live demonstrations of power ambulances, fault-management systems, and real-time monitoring mechanisms. Organisers have arranged exclusive visits for schoolchildren alongside hourly quizzes at the stalls.
Patil noted that the exhibition has been designed and organised entirely by TGSPDCL officials and staff. He directed officials to complete all pending arrangements ahead of the formal inauguration and invited students, researchers, families, and citizens from across Telangana to visit the venue.
