TG BIE Announces Second Phase Of Intermediate Admissions In Telangana Until July 31

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) in Hyderabad announced on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, that the second phase of Intermediate admissions will continue until July 31, 2026. The announcement follows the official conclusion of the first phase of the admission process, which wrapped up on Tuesday.
Following the completion of the initial round, the board has issued fresh instructions to junior colleges across the state. All junior colleges have been directed to admit students in the second phase based on their Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grade points earned in their qualifying examination.
According to the TG BIE, the first phase of admissions saw a strong response from students. A total of 62,562 students have already secured admission to the first year of Intermediate in government junior colleges during the first phase.
The second phase of admissions will run for a month, allowing remaining students to secure their seats. Junior colleges must process all subsequent applications using the prescribed GPA and subject-wise grade point metrics to ensure a fair and merit-based admission process.
With the final deadline set for July 31, 2026, the TG BIE has instructed all junior colleges to facilitate the admissions of students seeking to enroll in the first-year Intermediate courses during this second phase.
