TG BIE and Fire Department to Launch Software System for Fire NOC Verification

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) and the Fire department have decided to introduce an integrated software system to facilitate the easy verification of Fire No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

The measure was initiated after authorities discovered that private junior colleges had submitted fake Fire NOCs to the TG BIE while applying for affiliation for the 2026-27 academic year.

On Tuesday, the TG BIE, along with HYDRAA, convened a meeting with representatives of private junior colleges to deliberate on key matters regarding student safety and fire precautions. Officials decided to conduct a series of meetings to address the issue of Fire NOCs and ensure the strict implementation of fire safety norms across educational institutions.

The Board also appealed to parents, students, college managements, and other stakeholders not to fall prey to rumours or unverified information. Stakeholders have been advised to rely exclusively on official communications published on the official TG BIE website.
