Telugu Feature Ameer Log Set for Theatrical Release on August 21

Telugu film Ameer Log is scheduled for its theatrical release across Telugu markets on August 21, marking the maiden venture of banner Awwal Number Productions. The film is being brought to theatres by Spirit Media, the production and distribution company associated with actor-producer Rana Daggubati.

Produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma and co-produced by Manohar Reddy Manchuri, the feature is directed by Ramana Reddy Soma. The cast features MC Hari, Manoj, Sashidhar, and Vedha Jalandhar in lead roles. The film was developed with an emphasis on a grounded narrative, real locations, and Hyderabad basti vibes.

Director Ramana Reddy Soma noted that the audience reception during preliminary premiere screenings provided a significant boost in confidence for the team. He stated that the filmmakers aimed to deliver an unconventional project with fresh storytelling, expressing assurance that the initial buzz generated in the Nizam circuit would extend to other Telugu-speaking territories following the theatrical rollout.

Drawing parallels with the narrative identity established by Malayalam cinema, the director expressed belief that the Telugu film industry is entering a phase where Hyderabad can emerge as a hub for distinctive and offbeat stories. He stated that the team was confident the completed film had achieved its intended creative objectives.

Ahead of its theatrical debut, the production unit released promotional material highlighting the film's local setting and soundtrack. The film's music is composed by Smaran Sai, including the youth-focused track titled "Seeda Helicopter Shot," which was penned and performed by lead actor MC Hari.

Ameer Log heads into cinemas across the region on August 21 to test its reception with broader audiences.
