Telugu Drama Pallaburusu Starring Sudhakar Reddy Releases in Theatres

Telugu emotional drama film Pallaburusu, starring Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud in lead roles, was released in theatres on August 14, 2026. Directed by Uday Chauhan, the film is set against a rural village backdrop in Telangana and explores domestic dynamics between an aging parent and his grown child.

The film is produced by Annapurna Studios, Aditya Pitti, and Vivek Krishnani. It features music composed by Pawan CH, cinematography handled by Vinod K Bhandari, and editing by Srujana Adusumilli. Alongside the lead actors, the cast includes Prajwal, Gomathi Reddy, and Ashik Reddy.

The narrative centers on Shambo, played by Sudhakar Reddy, an elderly resident of a Telangana village suffering from a severe toothache. Following a doctor's advice to use a proper toothbrush, Shambo requests his son Tirupati, portrayed by Muralidhar Goud, to purchase one along with his medicines. When his son ignores the request, relations between the two rapidly deteriorate.

Distressed by the neglect, Shambo files a formal police complaint against Tirupati for refusing to buy him the toothbrush. At the same time, Tirupati formulates plans to sell an acre of his father's land in order to settle outstanding debts, intensifying the dispute between father and son.

The storyline touches upon the emotional expectations of aging parents and how shifting lifestyle patterns have contributed to distance within family relationships.
