Telangana Under-17 Chess Championship Set for Bachupalli on August 22-23

The Telangana State Under-17 chess championship is scheduled to be held on August 22 and 23 at Vikas Concept School in the Bachupalli locality of Hyderabad.

The tournament serves as a selection platform for the upcoming national competition. The top two players in both the boys and girls categories will earn the opportunity to represent Telangana at the forthcoming Nationals.

Eligibility for the state-level tournament is restricted to players who were born on or after January 1, 2009.

Organisers have announced that participants must complete their registrations ahead of the tournament, with the deadline set for August 21. Registrations are being accepted online through www.chesstelangana.com or via telephone at 7337578899 and 7337399299.

Organisers confirmed that there will be no spot entries accepted at the venue.
