Telangana Sets Up Helpline at New Delhi Bhavan for Residents Stranded in Nepal

The Telangana government has set up a special helpline and coordination centre at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist families who are unable to contact relatives stranded in Nepal following reports of widespread flooding and hundreds of missing persons.
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha expressed concern over the situation in the neighbouring country and prayed for the safety of those affected by the deluge. He also urged the Union government to take all possible measures to rescue Indian citizens stranded across flood-hit regions in Nepal.
The minister stated that families in Telangana who are unable to establish contact with pilgrims, tourists, or other residents from the state can approach the Telangana Bhavan helpline for coordination and tracking assistance.
To facilitate communication, the state administration has designated contact officers at Telangana Bhavan. Families can reach Vandana, Private Secretary to the Resident Commissioner and Liaison Head, at 9871999044; C.H. Chakravarthi, Public Relations Officer, at 9949351270; and G. Rakshith Naik, Liaison Officer, at 9618597969.
The arrangement by the state government is designed to serve as a primary contact point for local families seeking information and support regarding the whereabouts and safety of Telangana residents currently in Nepal.
