Telangana Sets Indiramma Housing Lucky Draws in Hyderabad From August 28

Telangana Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced on Tuesday that location-wise lucky draws to select beneficiaries for the state government's Indiramma Houses in the Hyderabad region will take place from August 28 to August 31. The draws will cover four locations every day and will be streamed live on YouTube and other platforms.

The announcement came after a review meeting with department officials, where the minister detailed the verification process, eligible applicants, rejected submissions, and construction tenders. The lotteries will cover localities across Hyderabad, including Kowkur, Patigadda, Jalpalli, and Kulsumpura on August 28. On August 29, draws will occur in Jubilee Hills MLA Colony, Boinpally, Bandlaguda LIG Colony, and Nandi Musaliguda.

On August 30, the draws are scheduled for Gajularamaram, Police Lines in Amberpet, Gaddianaram, R&B Quarters, and Pocharam LIG Colony. The final day of lotteries, August 31, will cover Raidurg, KPHB Colony, Mailardevpally, and Redhills.

The state government invited applications for 7,340 affordable flats across 18 locations in 16 Assembly constituencies within the Outer Ring Road. Following a 360-degree verification of applications and objections submitted up to August 15, officials found 40,900 applications eligible, while 19,820 were rejected as ineligible.

Under the scheme, the government will provide a subsidy of Rs 5 lakh per flat, with each selected beneficiary required to contribute Rs 6 lakh in installments. The Rs 10,000 Earnest Money Deposit paid by applicants will be refunded directly into the bank accounts of unsuccessful candidates immediately after the final beneficiary list is declared post-lottery.

In addition to the initial 16 constituencies, the Housing Board is accepting applications for another 1,920 flats across four more Assembly constituencies: Amangal in Hayatnagar under L.B. Nagar, Goshamahal, Jamistanpur in Musheerabad, and Bandlaguda near Falaknuma in Chandrayangutta.
