Telangana School Education Dept Launches Portal for Private School Grievances

The school education department in Hyderabad on Thursday launched the 'Online Private School Complaint Monitoring System (PSCMS)' to allow parents, students, and the general public to register grievances against private schools and track their resolution status.

The initiative was designed to establish an accessible and streamlined mechanism to bring issues concerning private educational institutions directly to the attention of competent authorities.

To file a complaint, users can log into the system using their mobile number and authenticate their access through a one-time password (OTP). Once submitted, complainants can monitor the progress of their issue using their registered phone number or assigned grievance ID.

The tracking system displays comprehensive details regarding the case. These include the unique grievance ID, complainant name, contact number, user category, type of grievance, specific complaint details, remarks from officials, uploaded supporting documents, and the current processing status.

Director of School Education E Naveen Nicolas stated that the online mechanism is aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and the timely monitoring of complaints concerning private schools across the state. He encouraged parents to make use of the facility to submit genuine grievances directly to the department.

The department has requested stakeholders to provide complete and accurate information during the submission process to ensure complaints can be thoroughly examined and appropriate action taken by the relevant authorities.

The complaint system has been made accessible under the online services section of the official school education department website at schooledu.telangana.gov.in/SCHOOLEDUCATION/.
