Telangana PGLCET 2026-27: 967 Candidates Allotted LLM Seats in Phase One

The first-phase seat allotment for Master of Laws (LLM) courses under the Telangana Postgraduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCET) 2026-27 admissions has been released, with 967 candidates securing seats under the convener quota.
According to admission officials, a total of 1,058 convener quota seats were made available for the 2026-27 academic year across law colleges in Telangana. A substantial number of aspirants participated in the counselling round, with as many as 2,637 candidates exercising their web options for seat selection. The applicant pool exercising options comprised 1,572 male candidates and 1,065 female candidates.
Following the first-phase allotment process, 967 seats were allocated to eligible candidates. A gender-wise breakdown of the allotments shows that 547 seats went to male candidates, while 420 seats were allotted to female candidates.
Officials stated that candidates who have been allotted seats in this phase must complete the required post-allotment procedures to confirm their entry. Candidates are required to pay the prescribed admission fee online through the official portal. Upon making the payment, they must download both the fee payment receipt and the generated joining report.
Shortlisted candidates are required to report to their respective allotted colleges on or before August 27. Candidates must present all original certificates and documents for mandatory physical verification before the college authorities.
Following the successful completion of the physical verification of certificates, the respective colleges will generate and issue the provisional allotment order to confirm the candidate's admission.
