Telangana Opens Second-Phase ITI Admissions With August 15 Deadline

The Department of Employment and Training in Telangana has invited online applications for the second phase of admissions into government and private Industrial Training Institutes across the state. Candidates have until August 15 to apply for the upcoming 2026-27 and 2026-28 academic sessions. Among the institutions accepting students, the Government ITI and Advanced Training Centre at Mallepally in Hyderabad is offering seats across 26 one-year and two-year trades.

The admissions process covers both engineering and non-engineering trades structured under the National Council for Vocational Training pattern. According to the notification issued by the department, applicants must be at least 14 years of age. No upper age limit has been prescribed for candidates applying in this phase.

In terms of educational qualifications, candidates are generally required to have passed the Secondary School Certificate examination. However, the department noted that select trades are also open to applicants who have failed their SSC exams.

All applications must be submitted online through the official ITI Telangana website. Admissions into both government and private institutes will be finalized based on applicant merit and the reservation rules currently in force. Candidates who successfully submit and upload their application materials will receive subsequent details about the admission process via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
