Telangana Launches Indiramma Sewing Machine Scheme for Poor Women

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has launched the "Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Pathakam" to provide self-employment opportunities to poor women across the state.
The welfare initiative is being implemented through the Telangana Backward Classes (BC) Finance Corporation under the BC Welfare Department. Women between the ages of 18 and 55 years are eligible to apply for the scheme.
Under the eligibility guidelines, specific income thresholds have been established for applicants. The annual household income limit is set at Rs 1.50 lakh for residents in rural areas, while the limit for applicants living in urban areas is Rs 2 lakh.
Applicants are required to provide documentation to verify their eligibility, including an Aadhaar card along with a ration card, income certificate, or caste certificate.
Eligible candidates must submit their applications online through the TGOBMMS portal at http://tgobmms.cgg.gov.in. The deadline for the submission of applications is September 15.
