Telangana Inter First-Year Admission Deadline Extended to August 31

HYDERABAD — The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) on Friday announced an extension of the deadline for admissions into first-year intermediate courses across the state.

Students seeking admission for the 2026-27 academic year now have until August 31 to complete their enrollment process in junior colleges across Telangana.

Following the announcement, the board issued directions to all junior colleges instructing management and administration officials to continue admitting students until the newly extended cutoff date.

In addition to the timeline extension, the TGBIE issued an advisory to parents and guardians regarding college selections. The board urged parents to ensure that their wards are enrolled exclusively in recognized and affiliated junior colleges.

To assist parents and students in verifying institutional credentials, the board noted that the complete official list of affiliated junior colleges has been made accessible on the official TGBIE websites.
