Telangana Govt and foundit Sign MoU to Boost Youth Employability and Skilling

The Telangana government, through the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with jobs and talent platform foundit on Thursday to boost employability, upskilling, and career opportunities for youth across Telangana.

The strategic agreement is designed to enhance access to career services, promote industry-relevant skill training, and expand employment avenues for students and job seekers registered within the TASK ecosystem. By combining TASK's academic network with foundit's technology-driven career solutions and labour market intelligence, the partnership aims to build stronger pathways connecting education directly to employment.

TASK is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Telangana government to unite government bodies, industry leaders, and academic institutions in building a future-ready workforce. Its broader initiatives focus on improving the employability quotient of young people by strengthening their personal, technical, and organisational capabilities, while simultaneously providing industry partners with workforce development services and access to skilled talent.

Highlighting the objective of the collaboration, K. Nitin Kumar Reddy, Chief Executive Officer of TASK, noted that preparing youth for the future of work requires more than just technical skill development. He stated that the effort necessitates connecting job seekers with appropriate career guidance, industry insights, and real opportunities. He added that the collaboration combines TASK's network with foundit's technology solutions and market intelligence to empower students across the state with the skills, confidence, and resources needed to navigate a changing job market and build sustainable careers.
