Telangana Government Transfers 36 DSPs Across Cyberabad And Districts

The Telangana government on Monday, 29 June 2026, transferred 36 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and issued them fresh postings across multiple departments and districts. The administrative reshuffle impacts key wings, including the Crime Investigation Department (CID), Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Intelligence, and Special Branch, spanning areas like Cyberabad, Nizamabad, Khammam, Siddipet, and Ramagundam.
Under the new orders, several officers have been assigned to crucial roles within commissionerates and specialized units. In Cyberabad, K Purushotham has been posted as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) for the Special Branch (SB), while S Venkatesh has been appointed as ACP, Crimes, Cyberabad.
Other significant postings include P Srishylam, who has been appointed as ACP, Central Crime Station (CCS) in Nizamabad. In the CID wing, S Venkatesh and P Venkateshwarlu have been posted as DSPs. B Srinivas has been appointed as DSP, Road Safety, North Zone.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) will see the addition of G Mahendar Reddy and M Rajesh, who have both been posted as DSPs within the wing. Meanwhile, M Venkat Reddy has been assigned as DSP, Intelligence.
Several other ACP postings were also finalized in the state government's order. P Karunakar and G Govardhana Giri have both been posted as ACPs in the Special Branch.
In other districts, R Narender has taken charge as ACP, City Training Centre (CTC) in Khammam. B Srinivas Rao has been posted as ACP, Task Force in Ramagundam, and S Raju has been assigned as ACP, CCS in Siddipet.
The state government's orders reassigning these 36 DSPs are aimed at reshuffling police personnel across major commissionerates and districts. The transfers are effective immediately as the officers take up their new responsibilities in their respective wings.
