Telangana DGP CV Anand Hands Over Posting Orders to 36 Newly Promoted DySPs in Hyderabad

The Telangana police department has posted 36 newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) to various districts and units across the state. Director-General of Police C.V. Anand handed over the posting orders during a ceremony held in Hyderabad, which was also attended by Director-General of Police (Law and Order) Mahesh Bhagwat and other senior police officers.
The 36 officers, who previously served as circle inspectors, were recently promoted to the rank of DySP. Under the new posting orders, these officers have not been assigned to either the law and order wing or the traffic wing for their first posting following their promotion. Instead, they will transition into their new roles across different districts and units in Telangana.
During the ceremony in Hyderabad, DGP C.V. Anand addressed the newly promoted officers and highlighted that their promotions signify a transition into roles of greater responsibility. He called upon the officers to uphold professionalism, integrity, and dedication in public service.
Anand also urged the officials to lead by example, maintain high ethical standards, and work closely with local communities to ensure a safe and secure environment. He reminded the officers that every decision taken by a DySP should reinforce public trust and reflect the core values of the Telangana police, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them through their work.
