Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Begins 10-Day Official Tour of UK and US

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy departed for London from New Delhi on Thursday, kicking off a 10-day official tour of the United Kingdom and the United States.

Congress MP Mallu Ravi and the state government's advisor on protocol affairs, Harkara Venugopal, saw the Chief Minister off at the New Delhi airport in the early hours of Thursday.

Reddy was in the national capital earlier to attend the Congress Working Committee meeting held on August 19 prior to his international departure.

During the UK leg of his visit, Reddy is scheduled to visit the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University on August 21. On the same day, he will attend an English Premier League football presentation at Emirates Stadium.

On August 22, the Chief Minister will interact with a team from Cambridge. His itinerary for the day also includes visits to the Senate House, the University of London Campus, and the London Business School.

Following his engagements in the UK, Reddy will travel to the United States. On August 24, he is scheduled to tour the campuses of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

On August 25, the Chief Minister will visit the Northeastern University campus and hold discussions with a team from Virginia Tech University in Boston.

Reddy will subsequently travel to New York, where he is scheduled to address a 'Meet and Greet' gathering organised by the Indian Overseas Congress (USA) on August 26.

Concluding his 10-day overseas tour, the Chief Minister will depart from New York on August 29 and is scheduled to arrive back in Hyderabad on August 30.
