Telangana CEO Publishes ASDD List Excluding 73.39 Lakh Electors From Draft Roll

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana has published the list of electors whose names were not included in the draft roll of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026. A total of 73,39,235 people have been categorised under the Absent, Shifted, Dead, and Duplicate (ASDD) electors list across Telangana.

The draft electoral roll was published on Monday, August 17, 2026, following the enumeration phase of SIR 2026. As of August 10, 2026, the total number of electors in Telangana stood at 3,38,26,448, out of which enumeration forms of 2,64,87,213 people were digitised.

According to the official data, the 73.39 lakh entries in the ASDD list comprise 45,18,963 electors marked as permanently shifted, 11,25,546 classified as untraceable or absent, 9,22,229 confirmed dead, 6,70,203 found to be already enrolled, and 1,02,294 categorized under the 'others' classification.

The CEO's office stated in a press note that booth-wise lists of ASDD electors have been put up offline on the notice boards of respective ERO and AERO offices, Gram Panchayat and Municipal offices, and polling stations. These lists display the voter details along with the specific reasons for non-inclusion. The ASDD list has also been made accessible online through the official CEO and respective District Election Officer websites by selecting the district, Assembly constituency, part number, and part name.

CEO C. Sudharsan Reddy stated that electors whose names were excluded will have the opportunity to apply afresh. Eligible citizens who were unable to submit their enumeration forms between June 25, 2026, and August 10, 2026, can submit Form 6 along with the prescribed declaration form for inclusion.

The claims and objections period commenced on August 17, 2026, and will continue through September 16, 2026. This window also allows electors to seek corrections in their particulars or submit objections against any wrongful inclusions in the draft electoral roll. Forms are available online at voters.eci.gov.in.
