Telangana Athletes Win 27 Medals At Sub-Junior National Kickboxing Championship

HYDERABAD — Telangana's young athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Sub-Junior National Kickboxing Championship held in Madhya Pradesh, securing a total of 27 medals for the state. The impressive medal haul, which was reported on June 29, 2026, includes four gold, four silver, and 19 bronze medals.
The stellar performance by the state's contingent has brought significant recognition to Telangana's rising sports talent on the national stage. The junior kickboxers competed to secure their podium finishes and showcase their skills.
Among the top performers who clinched gold medals for the state were Golusula Meghansh, who competed in the 21 kg (PF) category, and Soinika, who secured the top spot in the 18 kg (PF) category. Joining them on the gold podium were Varun Saini in the 24 kg (PF) division and Chagala Pavani in the 46 kg (KL) category.
In the silver medal category, Chamarthi Hasini showcased a strong performance to win silver in the 65 kg (KL) division. Majjiga Manaswi also secured a silver medal for the state in the 32 kg (PF) category.
The state’s athletes also secured a total of 19 bronze medals. Among the bronze medalists were Chamarthi Tejasya in the 42 kg (LC) category, Pujari Harika in the 42 kg (KL) category, and Pavithra Boorla, who also competed in the 42 kg (KL) category. Ravula Yashasree secured a bronze medal in the 60 kg (KL) division, while A Arshith earned his bronze in the 37 kg (PF) category.
Following the successful campaign, Dr A Soni Bala Devi, SATG VC & MD, congratulated the young kickboxers. She commended the athletes for their remarkable achievements at the national tournament.
