Telangana Assembly Session to Begin on Sept 7 to Discuss Key Policies

The Telangana Assembly session will commence on Sept 7, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced during a meeting with public representatives at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Monday.
Several key matters are slated to be discussed during the upcoming session, including the HILT policy, issues surrounding 22 A category land, and proposals regarding lowering the age limit for contesting elections to the Assembly, Legislative Council, Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha.
The Chief Minister informed Members of the Legislative Assembly about the schedule of the session while reviewing development programmes across their respective constituencies. The review meeting at the Secretariat was attended by available state ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Council, and MLAs.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy directed the legislators to focus on developmental works and instructed them to expeditiously complete pending land acquisition processes for irrigation projects located in their respective constituencies.
