Telangana Assembly Asks MLAs to Submit Public Importance Questions by September 2

Ahead of the upcoming Monsoon Session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly in Hyderabad, MLAs have been requested to submit notices of questions concerning matters of public importance on or before September 2.

Telangana Assembly Secretary Rendla Thirupathi issued letters to all MLAs regarding the submission deadline. He stated that the directive was issued under the instructions of the Assembly Speaker.

Thirupathi noted that MLAs are entitled to ask questions on matters of public importance, which ministers are required to answer on the floor of the House.

In his communication to the legislators, Thirupathi requested them to submit notices of questions well in advance pertaining to all government departments. The early submission will allow the Assembly Secretariat to process the questions and forward them to the relevant departments, enabling officials to furnish answers well before the questions are listed in the official agenda.
