Teja Sajja Begins Shooting Zombie Reddy 2 on Special Set in Hyderabad

Tollywood actor Teja Sajja has commenced filming for his highly anticipated film "Zombie Reddy 2" on a specially erected set in Hyderabad. Crucial scenes involving the actor are currently being canned at the Hyderabad venue. The shoot began immediately after the actor wrapped up a major filming schedule for another sequel, "Mirai 2", in the scenic locales of Vizag.
The upcoming zombie thriller sequel features a story written by director Prasanth Varma, who created the original "Zombie Reddy". While Varma has provided the story for this new project, a new director is reportedly stepping in to helm the sequel. The film is being bankrolled under the People Media Factory production banner, with official details regarding the full cast and crew expected to be released soon.
The original "Zombie Reddy" made its mark as Telugu cinema's first zombie genre film, performing decently at the box office by blending horror elements with comedy.
Sajja is currently balancing his shooting schedules between "Zombie Reddy 2" and "Mirai 2" to ensure both projects progress without delay. This busy phase follows a successful run for the actor, who scored back-to-back blockbusters with "Hanu-Man" during Sankranti 2024 and the release "Mirai", which opened to strong box office numbers and positive reviews. Before returning to these film sets, Sajja also completed shooting for "Traitors", a reality show on Amazon Prime Video.
With both "Mirai 2" and "Zombie Reddy 2" moving at a rapid pace, both movies are expected to release within a short span of time next year. Sources indicate that "Zombie Reddy 2" might actually release ahead of "Mirai 2" in 2027.
The actor's planning is expected to benefit both production teams, as the current shooting pace will prevent major delays in wrapping up the entire filming portions for both upcoming sequels.
