Teenager Travelling to Hyderabad Dies After Falling From Moving Train Near Bhongir

An 18-year-old student died after accidentally falling from a moving train near Pagidipally on the outskirts of Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Thursday while travelling towards Hyderabad.

According to the railway police, the deceased was an Intermediate student and a native of Sarvapur village in the Narsampet mandal of Warangal district. He accidentally slipped from the train while it was passing Pagidipally and suffered fatal injuries, dying on the spot.

A relative stated that the youth was on his way to Hyderabad to fetch his sister and bring her home to Sarvapur for the Rakhi festival on Friday. However, the fatal accident occurred before he could reach his destination.

Following the incident, railway police reached the spot and shifted the body to the area hospital in Bhongir for a postmortem examination. The body was later handed over to the grieving family members.

The railway police have registered a case regarding the incident, and an investigation into the circumstances of the fall is currently under way.
