Teenage Romantic Drama Hushar Pittalu Releases in Theatres

The Telugu youthful romantic drama film 'Hushar Pittalu', directed by Bhikshu and produced by Venkat Yadav, arrived in theatres on August 15, 2026.

The film revolves around the lives of two teenagers, Ravi, played by Ansh, and Chitti, played by debutante Vasavi Ganesan. Set against a small village backdrop, the plot follows Ravi, who finishes his tenth standard and moves into intermediate education, and Chitti, who is still attending school. The narrative tracks their attraction to one another, the subsequent crossing of boundaries, and the challenges that unfold as their parents place high hopes on their academic futures.

Actors Govardhan Reddy and Ramesh Nakirekanti portray the concerned parents in the film, adding emotional grounding to the story, while Anji and other supporting cast members appear in key roles. The production attempts to deliver a cautionary message about how adolescents can lose focus on their goals, balancing dramatic turns with situational comedy.

On the technical front, Charan Arjun composed the music and songs, which reflect the rural setting of the storyline. Cinematography was handled by Rudra Sai, while veteran editor Marthand K Venkatesh managed the film's editing.
