Task Force Arrests 11 Fake Doctors and Medical Shop Owner in Hyderabad

The Hyderabad Task Force police arrested 11 fake doctors and a medical shop owner during a special operation conducted across Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad today.

According to police officials, the accused were allegedly practicing medicine without valid qualifications, relying on fake degree certificates and fraudulent doctor certificates to run their practices.

Investigators stated that the accused were treating approximately 50 to 100 patients every day, charging between Rs 50 and Rs 200 from each patient who visited them for medical care.

During the raids, law enforcement officers seized a substantial amount of medical supplies and forged items from the possession of the accused. The seized items included doctor prescriptions, rubber stamps bearing doctors' names, fake medical certificates, thousands of medicines, glucose bottles, and other medical equipment.

Cases have been registered against the accused across several police stations in the city. Two cases were registered at the Mudarangar police station, two cases were registered at the Chilkalguda police station, and two cases were registered in the Old City. In addition, one case each was registered at the Jubilee Hills, Filmnagar, Borabanda, Ramgopalpet, and Domalguda police stations.

Police officials stated that further investigation into the operation and the fraudulent practices is underway.
